2. What Destinations Are Covered Under Voyager Plus 90 Day Travel Insurance?
We offer 90 day travel insurance for both Europe and worldwide destinations. For the different destinations, we’ve categorised into 3 areas:
Europe Only Coverage
If your 90-day trip is limited to European destinations, you’ll need to select Area 2 when getting a quote. This area includes the following destinations:
- The United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland
- The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands
- Western Europe
- Countries with a Mediterranean coastline (excluding Algeria, Libya, Syria, and Israel)
- The Canary Islands, Madeira, and Iceland
Worldwide Coverage
For trips extending beyond Europe, you’ll need worldwide travel insurance for 90 days. There are two options:
- Area 3: Includes all countries in Areas 1 & 2, plus worldwide (excluding North America, the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Bermuda)
- Area 4: Includes all countries in Areas 1, 2 & 3, plus North America, the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Bermuda
3. What If I’m Visiting Multiple Countries Within The 90 Days?
Our policies offer worldwide cover options, so you’ll be protected whether you’re travelling to one destination or several. Just ensure you select the correct geographical area when getting your quote.
Please Note: Our 90 day holiday insurance covers one continuous trip only. It doesn’t cover multiple trips where you return home in between. For that, you’d need a different type of policy, such as Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance.
4. What Activities Are Covered During My 3 Month Trip?
Voyager Plus 3 month travel insurance includes cover for a wide range of leisure activities as standard. However, if you’re planning something more adventurous — such as bungee jumping or canyoning — you’ll need to declare it to us and obtain written confirmation of cover before you travel.
5. Can I Get Cover for Longer Than 90 Days?
Yes — if your trip lasts more than three months, Voyager’s Long Stay Travel Insurance can cover you for up to 18 months (extendable to 24 months on referral). Find out more on our Long Stay Travel Insurance page.
6. Can I Extend My 90 Day Travel Insurance If My Plans Change?
If your plans change and you want to spend more time away than expected, you may be able to extend your travel insurance for longer than 90 days by paying an additional premium.
You’ll need to let us know before your current policy ends, and extensions are only available if your total trip length remains within the policy limits.
7. How Do I Get a Quote for Travel Insurance for 90 Days?
