With the exception of Section 2 - Emergency Medical Expenses, our policies will no longer provide cover for claims directly or indirectly related to a pandemic and/or epidemic, notably at this time Coronavirus (COVID-19) including any related and/or similar condition(s) howsoever called or any mutation of these.
This policy will also not provide cover claims relating to the fear or threat of pandemic and/or epidemic, including but not limited to Coronavirus (COVID-19) including any related and/or similar condition(s) howsoever or any mutation of these.
This general exclusion applies to all sections of cover with the exception of Section 2 - Emergency Medical Expenses as long as, prior to your trip commencing, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office had NOT advised against all (but essential) travel to your intended destination.
Important Information Regarding Scuba Diving:
Scuba Diving on Leisure Activities (included automatically in Voyager Plus Policies) is now to a maximum depth of 15 metres.
If you need cover to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres, you will need to select and pay the additional premium for Action Activities. If you need cover to dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres, you will need to select and pay the additional premium for Action Plus Activities.
Our policies will also no longer provide cover for claims directly or indirectly related to Scuba Diving in Cyprus.
Section 20 - Enhanced Travel or Terrorism Disruption and Section 22 - Cruise Plus Insurance
As a result of the COVID 19 pandemic, Section 20 – Enhanced Travel or Terrorism Disruption and section 22 – Cruise Plus are currently unavailable to purchase.
PLEASE REMEMBER: It is essential that you check the latest advice outlined by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) at www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice before departure. Our policies will NOT provide cover under any section of the policy if you travel to a country or specific area, where prior to travel, the FCDO are advising against all (or all but essential) travel.

Voyager travel insurance can cover a wide range of sports and activities, some, however, may require an additional premium in order to be covered by your travel insurance policy.

Voyager Plus Travel Insurance offers a range of different policies depending on the type of holiday you are taking, such as short stay cover, annual multi-trip insurance and long stay policies (Standard and Prime levels of cover only) for those people going abroad for several months.
Annual Multi-Trip features
- Covers multiple trips in any one year, for up to 45 days (31 days for those aged 70-74) on any one trip
