If you are going skiing or snowboarding you need to make sure that your travel insurance covers wintersports.

21 Days winter sports cover is provided as standard on all our Annual Multi-trip policies and cover can be added to our single trip and long stay travel insurance policies.

The additional premium covers you for any medical claims that arise from your participation in any wintersports. It also covers you for the loss, theft or damage of any ski equipment that you own or hire while on holiday.

You are also covered in the event of loss or theft of your ski pass. If there is a piste closure due to a complete lack of snow or adverse weather conditions then you can claim up to the amount in the benefits schedule for the cost of travelling to an alternative ski resort.

Wintersports cover is available for those up to the age of 74.
