Long Stay Travel Insurance

If you are going on a single journey of more than 45 days then you will need one of our long stay policies.

Voyager’s long stay policy can provide cover for trips up to 15 months so it is perfect for backpacking, gap years and other longer trips such as sabbaticals.

You can buy a long stay travel insurance policy up to the age of 64.

Long stay policies have the same great benefits as other Voyager Travel Insurance policies.

  • Cancellation/Curtailment - £5,000
  • Holiday Financial Protection - £3,000
  • Baggage/Personal Possessions - £2,000
  • Missed Departure and Journey Disruption - £1,000
  • Abandonment - £5,000
  • Personal Liability - £2,000,000

Wintersports can be added to the policy to cover you up to 31 days on an incidental basis or if you plan to go skiing or snowboarding more often wintersports can be covered for the entire duration of the trip.
