Honeymoon Travel Insurance

With all your wedding plans going on, it’s easy to forget something like travel insurance for your honeymoon.

Having a travel insurance policy from Voyager can give you peace of mind should the worst happen while you are away.

Each of our policies gives you a great choice of cover at an affordable price:

  • £20,000,000 Emergency medical expenses
  • £5,000 Cancellation or curtailment
  • £2,000 Baggage cover
  • £3,000 Holiday financial protection
  • 24 hour Emergency medical helpline

Why do I need travel insurance?

If you need to cancel or curtail your honeymoon, for an insured reason, you will be able to claim back its value up to a maximum of £5,000. For more information see the Policy wording.

Medical treatment abroad can be very expensive and often costs tens of thousands of pounds or more. With Voyager travel insurance you are covered for up to £20 million of medical expenses. This includes repatriation back to the UK, something which the European Health Insurance Card and other reciprocal health agreements do not cover.

Our policies also include £3,000 Holiday Financial Protection cover, in case any of the elements of your trip go bankrupt.

If you are booking your honeymoon independently, then you may like to consider the Independently Booked Travel Extension. This provides additional cover, giving you added protection that would usually be provided by a tour operator if you were on a package holiday, in the event of a situation such as volcanic ash closing airspace leaving you stranded abroad and having to pay for additional accommodation.
