How old do I have to be to take out a policy?
You must be at least 21 years old at the date of rental. Similarly the maxmium age is 74 at the date rental starts.
Which countries are covered by the European policy?
The European policy covers your home country and all countries in the continent of Europe to the West of the Ural Mountains, islands in the Mediterranean, Morroco, Tunisia, Turkey, Canary Islands, Maderia and the Azores.
Which countries are covered by the Worldwide policy?
All countries are covered by the Worldwide policy, including your home country.
What is the maximum excess that can be reimbursed?
The maximum excess reimbursement on this policy is £2000.
What is the maximum duration of cover?
Single-trip 180 days
Annual Multi-trip 31 days per trip
How long do I have to make a claim?
Anything that may give rise to a claim should be given to the claims handling office in writing within 31 days of the end of the rental period
I'm hiring an expensive car, will this be covered?
Unfortunately rental vehicles that have a retail purchase price in excess of $50,000 or "Antique" vehicles that are over 20 years old or have not be manufactured for 10 years or more are not covered by this policy
