Am I covered if I breakdown in the UK?
Voyager to Europe is specifically designed to cover you if you breakdown while on holiday in Europe. If you breakdown in the UK as part of your trip then you are covered. It does not cover you for breakdowns that occur in the UK that are not a direct journey between your home and your international departure point.
Back to TopThe policy states that I must carry a serviceable spare wheel, however my car is equipped by the manufacturer with run-flat tyres/tyre puncture sealant kit, is this covered?
As long as these alternatives are as specified by the manufacturer they are covered by the policy.
Back to TopI'm hiring a vehicle to go abroad, is this covered?
As long as you have the hirer's permission and the vehicle fits the definition of Insured Vehicle in the policy wording it can be covered.
Back to TopMy car is over 15 years old, can this be covered?
Unfortunately, we cannot insure any vehicle over 15 years old with this policy

Back to TopHow many people are covered by the policy?
Our breakdown cover covers the vehicle rather than the occupants; however the vehicle must not exceed the number of persons recommended by the manufacturer up to maximum of 8 persons, including the driver.
Back to TopI am named on the policy; can anyone else drive the vehicle and be covered by the policy?
Yes, the breakdown cover is for the vehicle. Any member of your party can drive the vehicle provided they have your permission and they have the appropriate licenses for the vehicle. If the vehicle has been hired they must also meet the requirements of the hirer.
