Volcanic Ash Cover

Recent events have highlighted some important elements included as standard within the Voyager Travel Insurance policy that have proved useful to customers.

Many Voyager customers have been grateful for the cover provided under Section 8 - Journey Disruption. This covers customers who have had to arrange alternative transport in order to get to their destination or return home, including additional accommodation costs, due to the volcanic ash situation have been covered by the policy up to the £1000 limit.

Obviously these recent events have cost the airlines a huge amount of money and with the current economic climate we believe that the WEBroker cover for Holiday Financial Protection (Section 12) may become increasingly important to customers over the coming months. This section provides cover to independent travellers should any of the elements of their holiday become insolvent.
